The continuous sand transportation device (commonly known as "sand storage") is a supporting equipment for large-scale sand fracturing operations in oil fields. With the deepening of deep well and shale gas development, construction operations have developed towards high pressure and large-scale. On site construction for sand fracturing used to rely on sand tank trucks for sand storage and supply. During the process of sand tank trucks moving in and out, not only were there many construction vehicles and difficult to organize, but also due to limited site area, it was difficult to carry out large-scale sand fracturing operations and ensure the need for continuous sand supply and construction quality. The continuous sand transportation device can fundamentally solve the problems of sand transportation discontinuity, low control accuracy, and poor mobility in the operation site, and is the development direction of future large-scale and ultra large fracturing operations. The large-scale sand adding device is suitable for the operational requirements of most oil field blocks in China and is currently the most economical and practical sand adding method for existing fracturing operations.


    Technical parameters for sand storage:

    Overall dimensions of sand storage (length x width x height): 7.2 x 2.3 x 7.8m (size can be customized);

    Number of tank compartments: double or three compartments (optional)

    Theoretical volume is: 100 cubic meters;

    The sand output speed at the sand supply port is 0-6 cubic meters per minute;

    By adopting a non powered self flow method and controlling the sand output through an electric gate valve, a shock absorber can be installed on the tank body to increase the flow rate.
